Tseung Kwon – O Data Center Hong Kong's Largest Data Center Set to Open Fall 2017

Upon completion this year, Tseung Kwon O will be the largest carrier and cloud neutral data center in Hong Kong with 45,000 sqm of space. China Telecom will operate two of the five buildings on the Tseung Kwon O campus providing best-in-class colocation and low-latency network services connecting our Tier one global network with mainland China.

The data center will incorporate some of the industry’s latest design features providing best-in-class technical solutions focused on resiliency. Tseung Kwon O will have 100MVA utility power supply capacity with fully diverse distribution to technical areas, and due to a unique raised floor system will offer customers exceptional power densities.

Power

  • Total Data Center Area: 45,000 sqm (across 5 buildings)

  • Initial 11kV utility supply with ultimate load supported by 132kV utility supply with N+N redundancy

  • Direct connectivity to Hong Kong Stock Exchange Hosting Facility in the same campus (to be completed in 2018)
